Dr Sam Elliott

Sam is a specialist General Practitioner with 30 years of experience in rural and urban General Practice. He obtained his MBBS at the University of Adelaide and a Master of Public Health & Tropical Medicine from James Cook University. He is a current member of the ASHM Board, the national HIV Advisory Committee, and the National Hepatitis B Advisory Committee. Sam has been actively involved as an educator and participates in primary care research.

Sam has a special interest in skin cancer management, diabetes, liver disease, chronic disease management and is an accredited S100 prescriber for HIV and Viral Hepatitis.

Outside of work Sam is a keen gardener, cyclist and enjoys live music.
